These Quiet Places is multi media project exploring the role relationships and the season of autumn.
The production process officially began in February 2014 with long time collaborator and producer Nik Karlin.
Our intension for this project was to create an musical experience that would be represented in a short film and album.
We established that these songs would follow a narrative sequence and capture individual landscapes.
The last stages of the mix were accomplished in late 2015 by Nik Karlin.
The final mastering services are attributed to Taylor Deupree from 12k mastering in New York
The finished product was self released on Friday March 4th 2016.
Producer, Music Production and Sound Engineering
Nik Karlin and I spent two years together completing the music of “These Quiet Places”. As an experienced collaborator and friend he brought the necessary faith, patience and technical skills to complete this project.
Joshua Searle and I had previously collaborated on minor projects, but the “These Quiet Places” film is our first long anticipated short film together. The film was captured on an autumn afternoon, at Sydney Central Park
Alex Carlyle was equally important to the visual content and style. What developed from her current Belgium Photography would soon inspire the visual album art production.
From our first meeting Chad connected with my vision for design and branding for "These Quiet Places'. His skills, work and enthusiasm for this project was greatly appreciated.
